This is a short, simple, satirical rock song about wanting to escape a stalker! The stand out feature of the 6/8 ballad is a driving guitar riff that repeats throughout the song, but it starts with some creepy atmospheric noise and a mellow organ line. It was made entirely by Alex, from recording all the instruments, to the production and mixing. This is the first song he ever released, and it continues to be a fan favourite, getting the crowd going at gigs.
I’m being stalked, he’s still outside
All I can do is try to hide
It’s been three hours, I still can’t go free
The best plan for me is to flee the country
It’s been six months, he’s still out there
I know he is but I don’t know where
I’ve locked my front door, I’m hiding under my bed
I know he’s still out there, getting into my head
